Say you have a nice long Thanksgiving weekend, with no plans and no family to visit. Rather than hopping up to Canada or visiting Portland for a few days - why not tile a bathroom! That was our choice! We tore out the carpeting in the bathroom (I know this is revolting, we should have done it long ago...)
On a lighter note, we took the kids to Snowflake Lane - where high school kids dress up like drumming soldiers and perform to Christmas Music. Lane and Cami remembered this from last year, so we were back for more. They even make it snow. Santa goes by in a horse carriage, and is is quite a scene.
