We started our Sunday by taking The Chief to his favorite off the leash dog park. It is huge, and the trail runs along a river, where they have built steps so the dogs can go in the water. All the dogs, except The Chief go in the water. He took two steps in (remember this is his third summer here - so two steps in 3 years is a big deal) but he came out after another dog bumped him on the way to his tennis ball. Poor Chief! He does love to see all the other dogs, and often follows other people around. He totally ignores us.
Since we had beautiful weather, we went to the Ballard Farmer's Market and counted 21 dogs in about 20 minutes. Seattle is a totally dog friendly place. 
We brought lunch and had a picnic listening to a concert in at the Ballard Locks.

Yeah! Finally i get to see pictures of the girls! Thanks for letting me know about your blog. Let the countdown begin for when you return to the lovely East coast!!
